Why are you single?

Do you have a boyfriend?

When are you going to get married?

When are you going to have kids?

When are you going to have the second kid?

I know most people avoid Chinese New Year or festive seasons because of these questions coming from "overly concerned" relatives. I get it, it's kind of annoying and it seems rude not to explain your situation.

You cannot control how others look at you and what they say but you can choose how to react. So, if you are avoiding festive seasons because you are triggered, then I have a question for you... What's the real reason for staying away?

Do you feel pain in your heart when people ask you why are you single... that's why you are staying away?

Here's the thing, what you resist, persist. So if you are intentionally staying away because of your status, you are re enforcing it in your sub conscious mind and it becomes your truth. What happens when that becomes your truth, it becomes part of your belief system and you will attract more of the same situations that enforces your belief system that YOU ARE SINGLE. Situations may come in the form of you attracting the same kind of unavailable men and you end up heart broken all over again.

Instead of running away, why don't you embrace the situation and not avoid all these festive seasons. Why deny yourself from these happy times? Remember how the law of attraction works? The happier you feel, the more you will attract happy situations to you.

When you are asked why are you still single?

Your answer to them is.... "Thank you for your concern. I'm happy with what I have and my true love is on his way to me. In the mean time, I'm enjoying my single hood.  I'll let you know once I've found my true love. Why don't you hold the vision for me that I'm happy with my true love? Thank you! Thank you!"

Of course say it like you mean it, otherwise it's not going to work. Don't you feel good saying this instead of running away?

When you run away, you are not running away from your relatives but yourself. Remember, nothing goes unwritten in your subconscious mind.
